"I know what it’s like to be out of alignment – to feel off track. To feel uncomfortable in your own skin. To feel self-conscious, wondering… Why do I have to try so hard? Is it even possible for me to change? What I am changing for?"
Transformational Nutrition changed my perspective on health and wellness. I finally stoped fighting with my body and eased into what felt natural and nurturing to me. It is amazing what happens when you simplify your relationship with food, fitness and body image.
My journey with health and wellness has taken many twist and turns, it all began with ballet lessons at the age of five. The focus, routine and physical challenge was immediately attractive and exciting to me. My passion and commitment for training grew even stronger when my mother taught me to run when I was 12 years old. Not only did my mother introduce me to endurance exercise, we ran a full marathon together while I was in university and she cheered me on years later in my first sprint triathlon. Exercise has always been a reliable anchor in my life.
I became certified as a Group Exercise instructor and strength training coach in 2001 while attending Carleton University. In 2006 I became a Certified Personal trainer with Can-fit pro. I then became a personal trainer and manager with the largest fitness company in Canada for several years (until the birth of my first child in 2011). I am certified in several Les Mills International disciplines including: Body Pump, Body Flow and RPM (spin), my passion for teaching continues to grow stronger every year. I am also certified in Jillian Michael's BodyShred and Yogafit. In most recent years I have explored the amazing world of plant based living and personal growth. My commitment to meditation and a plant based diet has given me an extra and amazing edge in my personal fitness and certainly as a coach. Every year gets better and I am very excited and confident in my experience, abilities and growth. Nutrition and lifestyle coaching is my true passion and I can't wait to help you reach your max potential. xoxo Anna.
