Have you ever felt like the harder you work the more you stayed the same? Or worse... the harder you work the further away from your goals you were? If this has happened to you, you are not alone. In fact, I am right there with you. I am telling you first hand that I have experienced the frustration of a plateau. A plateau isn't always defined by weight (sometimes we are already at a healthy weight or body fat %) sometimes a plateau means that you no longer reaping the same benefits you once were. You may have received amazing results from one type of exercises only stop seeing results or start reverting back. The body is clever and it adapts.
I, personally was in the cycle of go, go, go. I was doing the same workouts every week and often times I was adding in more activity or extra workouts. Little by little it backfired and I realized more is not more (unless you are Michael Phelps).
