When I wake up in the morning I feel freedom.
I lay in bed for a moment and count my blessings. I appreciate the fact that my heart is beating, I am healthy and there is a roof over my head. After gratitude comes coffee and a couple kids who need breakfast (and lots of other things apparently).
I believe that fitness and food are tools. They are tools to get you the ultimate life and physical body of your dreams. They deliver health and vibrancy.
My heart explodes with happiness when I see someone full of health, happiness and self love. My heart breaks when I see someone who is judging, comparing or hating themselves. No matter how fit they are, it may never be good enough.
In my world I am obsessed with the magical power of whole foods and fitness. Foods that fuel your amazing life and fitness that inspires you, makes you smile (and maybe cry a little bit).
But the most important tool is Mindset. Mindset allows you to live in the moment. Actually get lost in the moment. Truly enjoy a day at the beach, dinner with friends or holidays with family.
That is why we strive for freedom, freedom of the mind. The freedom to not be distracted by negative self talk, freedom from comparing ourselves to others, freedom from restriction and rules!
In a perfect world our body knows exactly what to do. We might need to tear it all down and start from scratch. Break old habits and thought patterns. A complete rebuild to reveal the masterpiece that is YOU. The YOU that already exist...we just need to get it out.
